Sebourn Family Awards "Be Persistent" Scholarship
Last year the Sebourn Family established the Teresa Sebourn "Be Persistent" Scholarship in honor of Mrs. Teresa Sebourn, who passed away from breast cancer in 2023.
This year we were pleased to again give two $1,000 scholarships to two Tullahoma High School Seniors who attended Bel-Aire school at least one school year.
Mrs. Sebourn was a life-time Bel-Aire Bee, attending school at Bel-Aire Elementary as a child from kindergarten. Mrs. Sebourn was known for her work ethic, putting in many extra hours in her classroom and continuing her work at home late into the evenings.
She was also known for her love and concern for her students and her fellow workers at Bel-Aire Elementary. Even as she developed health issues, she persisted in putting in her best efforts.

The Sebourn family was also honored to present this award to Andrew. He plans to attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and pursue a career in dentistry.
The Sebourn Family would like to thank every student who submitted an application. All of the applicants were outstanding students and we wish everyone a future full of success!
